Strengths-based, neuro-affirming, and research-supported (e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, play therapy) therapy is available to children and tweens, generally between the ages of 2-12. Individual therapy can be a supportive space to process all of life's ups and downs!
While therapy is individualized to the child, ongoing collaboration and consultation with caregivers is integral and an expected component of individual therapy.
Areas of focus in individual therapy can include:
General skill-building and processing of life's ups and downs
Anxiety and worries
ADHD and attentional/executive functioning
Neurodivergence, autism, giftedness, and twice exceptional (2e)
Social, sensory, emotional, and/or behavioral sensitivities
